- Subgeneric placement: placed in Platylaccobius by Gentili (1981), but as subgenus unknown by Gentili (1997), followed by Hansen (1999)
  - NOTE: it is hard to know why Maddison in Macfarlane et al. (2010: 412) listed this species again in Platylaccobius as a valid subgenus. The fact that he did so without comment suggests that it may simply be an error.
