Jenynsia luxata Aguilera et al., 2013

Type locality: Argentina, Tucumán, Burruyacu city, a small unnamed stream, río Tajamar basin, 26º30’13.47”S, 64º44’8.75”W [1].

Etymology: The specific name luxata, derives from the Latin, meaning dislocate, in allusion to the diagnostic character of the species, the separate pelvic bones.
