Name

Holotype: AMNH 38409a, skull with nasals and entire upper dentition complete, but lacks part of one zygoma and the posterior to fronto-parietal braincase suture.

Type locality: “Cueva de la Seiba, near Utuado, Puerto Rico.”

Synonyms

  • Ithydontia levir Miller, 1922: 5 [synonymized by Reynolds, Koopman & Williams (1953: 6)]

Holotype: USNM 10735, right mandibular tooth probably M1 or M2.

Type locality: “in the larger of the two caves northeast of St. Michel de l´Atalaye, northwest end of the Central Plain of Haiti.”
