Type locality: Solomon Is., Isabel Is.

Holotype: ♂ BMNH "Isabel Is., vi-vii.1901, B.M. Type No. Rh. 16600; Allotype: ♀ BMNH, "Guizo Is., xi. 1903, B.M. Type No. Rh. 16601. Both (A. S. Meek).
