- Type locality: “Tecpán, Sololá, Guatemala”.

- Holotype: UMMZ 102282, adult ♂, collected by L.C. Stuart on 21 July 1949.
- Type locality: “the coffee groves of Finca San Rafael on the outskirts of Dueñas, Department of Sacatepequez, Guatemala. Elevation, about 1475 meters”.
