Holotype: ZFMK 89607, by original designation.

Type locality: A flooded area in the middle of primary forest away from rivers and streams in Salonga National Park (02.88 S, 20.41 E, ca. 415 m above sea level), Province of Bandundu, Equateur Kasaï Oriental and Occidental, Democratic Republic of Congo.
