- Holotype: CAS 142596, adult ♀, obtained by T.J. Papenfuss on 9 August 1976.
- Type locality: “0.8 mi N San Vicente Lachixio, 7700 feet [= ca. 2346 m], Distrito Sola de Vega, Oaxaca, Mexico”.
