- Lectotype: SMNH 6152. [designated by van Soest (2002: 225)]
- Type locality: “in mari septentrionali extra oras Norvegiae, profunditate 200 orgyarum”, restricted by lectotype designation to “360 m off the N coast of Norway (Finmarken)” by van Soest (2002: 225).
