  • Type locality: JAPAN: Kagoshima Pref., Amamioshima Island, Sumiyou Village, near Santaro–toge.
  • Holotype: National Institute for Agro–Environmental Sciences, Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan, ♀, 4. June 2007, Kyohei Watanabe leg.
  • Etymology: This species is named after V. S. Kuslitzky, who has contributed to the classification of Banchinae.
