- Holotype: National Institute for Agro–Environmental Sciences, Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan, ♀, 4. June 2007, Kyohei Watanabe leg.
- Etymology: This species is named after V. S. Kuslitzky, who has contributed to the classification of Banchinae.
