- Holotype: LSUHC 14032, adult ♀, collected by Evan S. H. Quah, L. Lee Grismer, Perry L. Wood Jr., Myint Kyaw Thura, Jamie R. Oaks , and Aung Lin on 4 November 2018.
- Type locality: “along a trail leading down the northwest facing flank of the mountain from the Golden Rock Pagoda, Mon State, Myanmar (17.47840°N 97.10042°E WGS; 1057 m in elevation)”.
