Type locality: Bolivia, La Paz, Sarampiuni (as ‘Salampioni’), on the Rio Challana above Guanay, about 600 m, 15º 25’S, 68º7’W

Holotype: BMNH. male ♂. Joicey Bequest, 1934-120.
