Holotype: BMNH 1956.7.9.66-74 (1 of 9, male 90+21 mm). [Paratypes: BMNH 1956.7.6.66-74 (8, with holotype), plus non-type material].
Type locality: Napoleon Gulf, Bugungu, near Jinja, Uganda. Lake Victoria.
