• Holotype: MNRJ 17983, collected by R.V. ‘Marion Dufresne’ on 15 July 2011.
• Type locality: “Rio Grande Rise, SW Atlantic (PROERG, ERG 61‒L2, ‒ 33.5747S / ‒ 31.0970W), 1245‒ 1165 m depth”.
