• Holotype: MNRJ 21424, collected by R.V. ‘Marion Dufresne’ on 8 July 2011.
• Type locality: “Rio Grande Rise, SW Atlantic (PROERG, ERG 17-L2; - 31.5656 S / - 34.2850 W), about 2200‒1600”.
