  • Type locality: BORNEO: Sabah, Danum Valley, Borneo Rainforest Lodge, Flight interception trap.
  • Holotype: Collection Guillaume de Rougemont, London, ♂, 14-16.II.2007, G. de Rougemont leg.
  • Etymology: The enormous size of the aedeagus, which occupies more than half the length of the abdomen, suggested the name of the new species; it means "holder of gigantic aedeagus".
