• Holotype: ZSM 152/2022 (ZCMV 13707), adult ♂, collected by M. Vences, S. Rakotomanga, S. Rasamison and P.Galán on 17‒18 November 2022.
• Type locality: “Andasibe , VOI (VOIMMA) forest, central eastern Madagascar, approximate coordinates -18.9277, 48.4186, ca. 950 m above sea level”.
