  • Type locality: AUSTRALIA: NSW, Willowvale.
  • Holotype: AM, ♀, XII.1979, coll. Austr. Mus. & TTM, N° 1623.
  • Etymology: The name of the new species derives from the colours brown and yellowish-red of the body alternating in bands.
