Gephyromantis mafy Vieites, Wollenberg & Vences, 2012: 36

• Holotype: ZSM 1889/2008 (field nº ZCMV 8100), adult ♂, collected by David R. Vieites, J. Patton, C. Patton, P. Bora and M. Vences on 14 February 2008.
• Type locality: “Mahasoa campsite, near Ambodisakoa village, northeast of Vohimena at the northeastern edge of Lake Alaotra, Faritany (province) of Toamasina, northern central east of Madagascar, 17.29769ºS, 48.70199ºE, 1032 m asl”.
