- Holotype: BZL, ♀, 7.vii.2000, M. Halada.
- Type locality: TURKEY: 15 km W [of] Refahye, W of Erzibcan, 1600 m.
- Etymology: Named after “scorteus”, (Latin for “leathern”) and is used because of the very fine coriaceous mesoscutum.
