Myrmecocephalus ecustrictus (Pace, 2011: 48, figs. 13-14)

  • Type locality: ECUADOR: Pastaza Puyo, nr Santa Clara, 950 m.
  • Holotype: MCV, ♀, 18-21.VII.2008, leg. W. Rossi & I. Tapia.
  • Etymology: The name of the new species means “Ecuador narrow” in reference to the narrow posterior part of the pronotum.
