Type locality: MYANMAR, Bhamó; 24°16’N 97°14'E.

Lectotype: MCSNG. male ♂. 1885. legit L. Fea. (lectotype Argyrodes xiphias designated by Vanuytven, Jocqué & Deeleman-Reinhold, 2024: 60)
