  • Paratypes: AMNH 39038 (9); AMS I.20806-001 (13); CAS 43544 (9); SAIAB [formerly RUSI] 2219 (12); USNM 219664 (1), 219666-67 (18, 36), 220896-97 (1, 1).

Type locality: About 0.5 mile south of Ile Raphael, Saint Brandon's Shoals, southwestern Indian Ocean, 16°27'S, 59°36'E, depth 30 feet.
