Type locality: Indonesia, Papua, Sinak, 2000-2200 m.
Holotype: ZSM, ♂, 14-17.XII.1995, leg. A.Riedel.
Etymology: This epithet is based on the Latin adjective porosus (porose) in diminutive form and refers to the integument of the species which is densely perforated by small pores.
