Epyris hagoromonis Terayama, 1999 in Yamane, Ikudome & Terayama.

Type locality: Japan, Saitama Pref., Iwatsuki-shi.

Holotype: NIAES. female ♀. 23.V.1965. legit Y. Yoshikawa.

Etymology: hagoromo is a feathered garment of Japanese myth.
