Eleutherodactylus verrucipes (Cope, 1885)

Type locality: "in the neighborhood of the town of Zacualtipan in the north-eastern part of the State of Hidalgo, close to the boundary line of the State of Vera Cruz . . . . in the bottom of a rocky gorge of a stream near its junction with the San Miguel river, at a depth of at least 1800 feet below the level of the town of Zacualtipan", Hidalgo, Mexico.

Holotype: ANSP 11325.
