Type locality: "from a stick just above the water in a vegetation-covered, trickling creek running along the side of the road, El Boquerón, 2200 m, Department of Valle del Cauca, Colombia, Cordillera Occidental, 4° 44´ N, 76° 18´ W".
Holotype: UVC 12608.
