Holotype: USNM 115949. Paratypes: MCZ 37302 [ex USNM 115954] (2); USNM 115950-53 (21, 1, 2, 3), 15955-57 (3, 2, 2).

Type locality: Reef of Enderbury I., Phoenix Is., 3°08'30"S, 171°05'34"W.[1]
