Type locality: "Cachabe [=Cachabí], a small village on the river of that name on the N.W. Coast; in the Prov. Esmeraldas. . . probably about 500 feet above the sea", Ecuador.
Holotype: BM 1947.2.15.82 (formerly 98.4.28.107).
