Devario fangfangae (Kottelat, 2000)

Holotype: NRM 44880, 66.7 mm. Paratypes: CMK 12668 (6), 12798 (41); LARRI uncat. (3), uncat. (15); NRM 44881 (2); ZRC 45300 (15).

Type location: Nam Phao at waterfall immediately downriver of border post on road from Lak Sao to Vinh (Vietnam), 18°23'00" N, 150°09'20"E, Bolikhamxai Province, Laos.

Etymology: "Named for Fang Fang Kullander, who has published several papers on the systematics of Danio, in appreciation of her help." [Kottelat, 2000]
