Type locality: Borneo, North Borneo, Mt. Kinabalu, Poring Hot Springs, 6°2'N 116°50'E, 500-700 m.

Holotype: NBC. male ♂. 19.II.1996 to 26.III.1996. legit A. Floren, ex coll. C. L. Deeleman 2000-704.
