- Holotype: WAM M5514, ♂, body in alcohol with skull removed, collected by E.H.M. Ealey on 4 April 1958.
- Type locality: “loc. 22 [i.e. Airfield, approx. 3 m. W. of Pullcunah Hill]. Woodstock Stn., via Marble Bar, Western Australia. Lat. 21°35' S., Long. 119° E. (Military Grid 017230)”.
