Devario salmonata (Kottelat, 2000)

Holotype NRM 44885. Paratypes: CMK 15515 (2), LARRI uncat. (1), ZRC 45302 (1).

Type locality: Huay Makchan-Gnai (Xe Nam Noy basin), south of Ban Taut, at turnoff to Xe Nam Noy Project, on road from Pakse to Attapu, 15°04'14"N, 106°32'33"E, Champasak Province, Laos.

Note: Specific name is an adjective and ending corrected by Kottelat 2001.
