Devario apopyris (Fang & Kottelat, 1999)

Holotype: NRM 41278. Paratypes: CMK 14316 (6), DFV uncat. (3), NRM 41242 (4), ZRC 43052-54 (3).

Type locality: Stream near Ban Nakbon, 4 kilometers east-southeast of Muang Sing, 21°10'47"N, 101°10'50"E, Nam Youan watershed, Mekong basin, Namtha Province, Louang, Laos.
