- Lectotype: BMNH 1946.1.18.11, adult ♀, presented by C. Fellows in April 1838. [designated by Nilson & Andrén (1986: 63)]
- Type locality: “Xanthus” and “Asia Minor”, restricted by lectotype designation to “Xanthus” (Kinik), province Mugla, S.W. Turkish Anatolia, by Nilson & Andrén (1986: 63).
- Paralectotype: BMNH 1946.1.20.93, juvenile ♀, “Asia Minor”, presented by A.C. Christy, date unknown.
