- Holotype: La Sierra University, Herpetological Collection (LSUHC) 12209, Adult female, collected by L. Lee Grismer, Perry L. Wood, Jr., Brandon T. Burch, Anthony J. Cobos, Hayden R. Davis, Shahrul Anuar, and Mathew L. Murdoch on 21 March 2015.
