Cynopoecilus feltrini Costa et al., 2016

  • Holotype: UFRJ 10662.
  • Paratypes: UFRJ 10597 (11, 11), 10598 (3, 3), 10482 (3, 2), 10620 (5, 2).

Type locality: Brazil, Santa Catarina, Laguna, temporary pool near the confluence of Tubarão river and the Santo Antônio lagoon, 5 m a.s.l., 28°30'26"S, 48°48'01"W.

Etymology: Named after Caio Roberto Magagnin Feltrin, in recognition of his dedication in inventorying the fish fauna of southern Brazil.
