Type locality: San Lorenzo, Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Depto. Magdalena, 2,200 m, in front of building of the nature protection department, Inderana, Colombia.

Holotype: SMF. female ♀. 18-25.VIII.1985. legit H.G. Müller.
