Type locality: "Chicherota, Río Bobonaza, Napo-Pastaza [now Pastaza] Province, eastern Ecuador (Lat. 2° 22´ S., Long. 76° 38´ W.), at an altitude of about 250 meters".
Holotype: CAS-SU 10310.
