Crotalus ruber Cope, 1892

  • Holotype: USNM 9209, adult ♂, collector and date unknown.
  • Type locality: not stated, designated as “southern California” by Klauber (1956: 41), restricted to “Dulzura, San Diego Co., California” by Smith & Taylor (1950: 356).
