Type locality: "swamp on the E side of Spillway Creek at Spillway Bridge (16° 01´ 47" S, 128° 47´ 08" E), 11.5 km by road N of the Lake Argyle Tourist Village, Kimberley Division, Western Australia".
Holotype: WAM R59775.
