  • Holotype: MZUSP 115494 .
  • Paratypes: NRM 66233 (1); ZSM 28113 (1).

Type locality: Brazil, State of Amazonas, Rio Negro drainage, Taracua.

Etymology: named for Mônica Toledo-Piza Ragazzo. Her initiative and effort in publishing the drawings of Wallace were a great service to science, and also decisive for identifying the species.
