Helicops carinicaudus (Wied-Neuwied, 1824)

  • Holotype: AMNH 3365, ♀, collected by M. zu Wied–Neuwied between 26 November–19 December 1815.
  • Type locality: “Brasilien”, restricted to “Urwäldern am Flusse Itapémirim (Itapémiri)” by Wied-Neuwied (1825: 304).
