Type locality: "Explornapo Lodge, ACEER [Amazon Center for Environmental Education and Research], Lower Río Napo near Quebrada Sucusari, Departamento Loreto, Peru, GPS coordinates 72° 55´ W, 3° 14´ S".

Holotype: MHNSM 17741.
