- Type locality: “Departamento del Tolima, municipio de Falan, finca 'El Capricho', por carretera 1 Km. antes de Falan, vertiente oriental Cordillera Central, 5°3′ latitud N, 74°58′ W de Greenwich, 900 m”, Colombia.
