Cobitis sinensis Sauvage & Dabry de Thiersant, 1874

  • Syntypes: MNHN 1872-6779 (4, poor condition).

Type locality: Creeks in western Szechwan, China.

Etymology: The specific name is derived from the Latin Sinae, the kingdom of China.
