Chiloglanis sanagaensis Roberts, 1989

  • Holotype: CAS 60794.
  • Paratypes: CAS 60795 (25); MNHN 1987-1609 (2), 1988-1164 (11), 1988-1165 (now 2); USNM 301202 [ex MNHN 1988-1165] (2 of 12); MRAC [ex MNHN 1988-1165] (2); ZSM 26829 [ex MNHN 1988-1165] (3); Geneve [ex MNHN 1988-1165] (3).

Type locality: Lower 1-2 kilometers of Nchit River where it flows into Mbam River, Sanaga River basin, Cameroon, western Africa.

Etymology: The specific epithet sanagaensis refers to the Sanaga basin, source of all type specimens of this species.
