Chiloglanis harbinger Roberts, 1989

  • Holotype: CAS 60811.
  • Paratypes: SU 47469 (9).

Type locality: Lokunje River near Bipindi [1], Cameroon, western Africa.

Etymology: The specific epithet harbinger from the Middle English (for Omen or precursor) was given in allusion to the large number of teeth in the suckermouth mochokid genera Atopochilus and Euchilichthys, a condition presaged or foreshadowed in this species of Chiloglanis.
