Channa bleheri Vierke, 1991

Type locality: Upper Diburu near Guijam, Assam, India.

Holotype: ZFMK 16555. Paratypes: ZFMK 16556 (1). Type catalog: Herder et al. 2010:133.

Etymology: Species is named in appreciation after German aquarist and fish explorer Heiko Bleher, who first purchased the catch and sent them out for identification.
