Name

Centromochlus (Sauronglanis) carolae (Vari & Ferraris, 2013)

• Holotype: USNM (CSBD) 401514.
• Paratypes: USNM (CSBD) 408386 (1), 408387 (1), 401511 (1).

Type locality: Guyana, Cuyuni-Mazaruni, Cuyuni River, sand island in middle of river just downstream from Kurutuku, 6°54'N, 60°18'W [1].

Etymology: in honor of Carol Youmans, Management Support Specialist, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, for “invaluable” assistance to both authors over the years, particularly the senior author. The ETYFish Project
