Centrodraco atrifilum Fricke, 2010

Holotype: AMS I.24455-001. [Paratype: AMS I.27676-007, (1)].

Type locality: Tasman Sea, Queensland, Australia, off Brisbane, 27° 29' S, 153° 50' E. 640 m depth.

Etymology: Species name atrifilum is composed from Latin ater (= black), and filum (= thread). The name refers to the black filament on the second spine of the first dorsal fin.
